Customer Review: Beautiful and well made!
I ordered this case to go with my new Pink Acer Aspire One 8.9 inch laptop. It matches perfectly! It's lightweight and well made, with memory foam to protect your computer. There's also a side zipper pocket with plenty of room for the power cord. It has a detachable shoulder strap and the zippered closure is made so that a small padlock could be placed on it for security. Overall, it's a beautiful, well made case and compliments the pink Acer perfectly!

Customer Review: Buyer Beware
We bought our Samsung HT-DB600 Theatre System because it is a Samsung product. We own three Samsung DLP TVs and love them all - fantastic displays and no problems. We also liked the DB600 Theatre System's compact size, low profile and sleek appearance. We installed it in our bedroom and wall mounted the small speakers. It was functional for this purpose, relatively unobtrusive and had good surround sound...while it worked. BUT it has been used less than 30 hours and now powers off immediately and displays the dreaded "Protection" message. Samsung says it's overheating and it is out of warranty. How does a receiver/DVD player overheat while turned off? We had not used it in several days, then turned it on and it turned itself off for "Protection". Who wants to pay $150 + shipping for repairs to a faulty product to likely face the same problem again in the near future? If you are unfamiliar with the "Protection" message and its lack of a simple fix, just Google: Samsung HT-DB600 Protection. This is apparently a much too common problem. Although we love our Samsung DLP TVs, we will not buy another Samsung receiver or theatre system until Samsung decides to fix this problem, stand behind their products and recall this faulty sound system .
Customer Review: very heavy, quirky speaker settings menu
Yes, first the weight... why does it feel like it has a lead chassis inside? Really surprised me that it would be so heavy. Disc tray is only plastic, so that couldn't be the reason, so that leaves the amplifier transformers I guess. I agree with a previous reviewer about the strong enough subwoofer and seemingly weaker satellites. Volume must be half (min>25>max) to be good for my small livingroom. And I expected a "powered" subwoofer that carried its own power supply/amplifier onboard. Although this is only my second HT I know the other had a passive SW and connects just like the HT-DB600 does (speaker wire only). Speaker settings menu doesn't hold settings each time I go into it to make changes, so unless I'm doing something wrong then setting balance (or volume) is pointless. Something else amiss in the speakers menu is no Center icon in the Delay part, only has LS and RS show there, so I can't get that closest speaker to me to sound farther away. Not sure if this is a firmware issue, model/manual descrepency, or defect. What might point to it being a defect, of sorts, is how the test tone menu plays through the left front speaker in place of the center, as if there might be some internal problem. However, no problem is noticed during regular play. Yet another possible problem is with DRC (dynamic range compression, or keeping volumes moderated). It might be making sound go out-of-synch. I'll know more about it as time goes on, so maybe I'll update my review here if I learn more or anything happens to change my mind about the average rating I gave. All in all, if this home theater doesn't wreck any of my DVD or CD discs it seems a good system at the price I paid, which was about $177 after shipping. Good for people on a budget, like me, I believe, because the sound quality actually is good even if the volume must be rather high on the scale.

Customer Review: Good Cable
Just got it in and hooked it up to my PS3 and 1080p plasma. I had a $125 monster HMDI hooked up to it and switched them back and forth and could tell no visual difference. have not tested the audio yet, but I don't think there will be a problem. Good cable. I got the 15' cable and it seems to be working fine. Save some money. Get the cable. I give it 4 stars just because I am nervous that it is not doing all that a more expensive HDMI cable would do. I have no evidence to suggest that it is not doing a wonderful job, but the "rest-easy" factor just isn't there. Try it the most you'll lose is $20.

I have tried this cable with my computer and xbox and still no picture. I tried a shorter cable and works great. Not sure if its the cable or length but either way this cable isn't working.

Will the Wi-Ex YX500-PCS or the YX500-CEL unit work with any wireless service?

Cell phones from providers like Cricket, Metro PCS, Suncom, T-Mobile, and Sprint (excludes Nextel) normally work with our YX500-PCS model, and cell phones from providers like AT&T and Verizon will normally work with the YX500-CEL model. Most of the wireless phones in use today are in the PCS or the Cellular frequencies. Some wireless service providers are PCS only while others will operate in the Cellular and PCS frequencies. This varies from city to city. If your service provider shows both 800 and 1900 MHz the YX500-CEL will probably work. If your service provider shows only the 1900MHz, the YX500-PCS booster will work.
Customer Review: Easy to set up
I am very glad I invested in this product. I use it both for my cell phone and the sky card on my computer. It works well for both purposes. Before buying this unit, I had no bars of coverage in my house. As explained in the set up directions, I went up on my roof with my cell phone prior to installing the unit. I got 4-5 bars (out of six) on my roof. Using this unit's attenna on my roof, I get 6 bars consistently in my house, witth the unit in my house. Since I have a blue tooth head set for my phone, I set the phone next to the unit and get full coverage no matter where I walk in my house.
Customer Review: wireless extender
i live in an area where cell phone service is sketchy at best; there is no alternative for land lines. assembling the unit proved to be quite simple. initially i had some difficulty but the customer service representative was extremely helpful. now i can actually make phone calls from the room in which the extender is located...no dropped calls, no every other word missing. unfortunately, it does not extend to the other rooms in the house. but what i do have is heads and tails over intermittant service.
