So, thinking about getting this? It's a great idea. While being a durable camera, it's still nice not to show pictures on a camera that looks like a war relic. I have a screen protector and this case and the "waterproof strap" (the included factory strap doesn't dissolve when wet...) because it has a cinch slide so I can make it quite difficult to drop it reducing the chances that I'll test the durability like I did my last 3 digital cameras. Problem: You cannot access the data port or the battery compartment without taking the case off. I'm heading to Europe soon and am bringing my Tough-8000 in this skin, my 110-220 charger, my extra battery, and my extra cards so I can keep taking pictures until I'm somewhere I can upload and charge. Solution: Umm, easy 3 minute fix. I got a felt pen and outlined where I needed access to on both the data port and the battery compartment, took the case off and after tucking a piece of wood in the case, cut the outlines with an Exact-o blade. Works great for what I want and need and now I won't be taking it on and off.

I have followed the development of digital cameras since they first became available. Back in the day when Kodachrome was still King. Its obituary was in the news the other day. I saw the hand-writing on the wall waaay back then. The day has come on like gangbusters. By comparison this little camera is really amazing. The quality of the photos it takes are top notch, due to the wonderful Leica lens married to superb Panasonic electronics. When you see what this small camera is capable of producing you have to know that the day is not far off when big cameras with all the separate lenses etc. will go the same way the the previously mentioned Kodachrome has gone. Most highly recomended It is a joy to use!!

I've just returned from my first vacation with this camera. I previously had a Kodak subcompact. Weight and size are good, still easy enough to carry in a purse or pocket. The wide angle takes a huge sweep of area in the photos. Pictures are crystal clear with a touch of roundness at the edges of the landscapes. The zoom is incredible, but it takes a special touch getting used to the sensitivity of the zoom dial. The zoom was my main reason for selecting this little camera, along with the fine Leica lens. I used the manual and IA settings, great shots both ways. Very good photos in low light and with the flash off. Huge screen for viewing your subject, but I do miss my old viewfinder. Easy to playback shots and review, as well as a quick upload. Included software is very good for editing, etc. I still have a lot of experimenting to do, the camera has tons of interesting feaures. Have not seen a downside as of yet, easy to use, battery life is quite good, I shot for most of the day before it wore down, and it fully recharges in a couple of hours. Highly recommend this camera for the travel buff that loves to take pictures.

Customer Review: Unbelievable AV Receiver at a Discount Price
Have been setting up the AV Receiver with my older system components for a couple of days now and the setup is very detailed if you want it to be. The manual I first downloaded from Yamaha's website before purchase. I have learned more about the various 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 speaker systems and the various formats than I ever new were possible. The handles that the software gives you are very, very detailed. You can also use the included mic and do a very good auto set-up as a good place to start your overall system set-up. I could spend days tweaking the system if I can find the time. I am glad to have spent the extra, extra dollars knowing that this receiver will not be obsolete when the 5 year warranty expires.

I bought this unit about 2 years ago and have enjoyed its power, crispness, ease of use and was overall satisfied. But, when I upgaded my home system with better speakers, custom installation and an hd dvd player the true performance of this unit came out. This thing runs my entire house! It is magnificent in every way. One of the benefits is the ease of use it will read the broadcast of the dvd, cable or sat and set the proper sound settings. The think also has a little feature that reads the room so the front, center and surround speakers are set correctly. The price was a little steep but, after owning it for a while it was worth every penny. One more thing.... It weighs a ton. You need a forklift to move it. Go buy one. John

The wire works as a 'converter' by tapping into an existing hard wired system (with a small gauge wire); Which I completely gutted after playing with this Wireless Door Chime and Push Button system. I had to write a note on mine, saying, "DOORBELL" as visitors to my house did not know what it was... and were knocking. Which is frustrating when you are excited about a product.

Customer Review: Great Laptop
This Compaq CQ60-210US is a great laptop for about $399 (elsewhere) on Sale. The monitor seems huge with great quality, it boots up fast and is speedy on processing. The battery is short lived but that is par with a dual processor. We use it mostly at home for basic email, web surfing & games. A nice laptop, if you can search for deals and get a better price. Big deciding factor for us was the dual core processor. Twice the machine for the same price as a Walmart Single core processor. Be careful when comparing the 2! Windows Vista is not so bad, I thought I would hate it, but within the first 5 minutes, I had forgotten it was any different from XP. So, don't weight your decision too much on that. I've always had no less than 100 watts/channel of Sony's, Pioneers and Kenwoods except for a 55-watt Luxman in my lifetime .... among these, not one compared with it's power (and does not clip and turn off on home theater full blast) and the best sound I've heard so far .... this was after i removed the former unit powering my 5.1 home theater system running Polk Audio towers, Bose center and rear satellites and a Vidsonix subwoofer ... Harman Kardon sounds great too but is much more expensive compared to Denon ...

Loved the features the Olympus Stylus 9000 has. I really liked the 10x zoom, it's panoramic photos processed right in the camera, super macro mode and many others. Unfortunately, the one I would use the most was a hit-and-miss for taking good photos. In AUTO mode you really have no control on what the camera focuses on, thus causing many blurry images. It was not camera shake nor zooming that caused the blur. I had the camera for 3 weeks and after testing it on many shots I finally gave up and returned the camera. Bummer, I really wanted that camera! I gave the camera a 3 star rating as half the photos came out clear and the other half blurry.
Customer Review: Super camera for the balance between features and portability
I bought this camera for my wife to replace our seven year old Canon S40 with a newer, more capable camera. The Canon has been a great camera for us, but this thing is amazing! I also bought an extra battery and instead of buying the Olympus proprietary XD card (only 2GB), I bought a 16GB micro SD. I also bought a micro SD to XD adapter. This camera has been great. It's small enough that I don't feel like it's a huge consideration to take it anywhere we go, and it has a super fast start up, making it ready to go right away. The 10X zoom on this size of camera is amazing. It takes great pictures, the colors come out great, and shooting video is super as well. My wife and I both like the evolution of the buttons and displays on the camera. They are much more intuitive and easier to navigate than our previous camera or a number of digitals that we've tested before. My only caveat is that under lower light settings, zoomed pictures may come out a little fuzzy because there just isn't enough light and the flash won't compensate that far away. When turning the flash off for longer shots like that, there is also a slight delay on the shutter, so practicing a little with a moving subject to get an idea of how much to anticipate is not a bad idea. We haven't played with the smile recognition for self-portrait timer shots or some of the other gee whiz capabilities. We will, but thusfar it has been used for the 98% of what we need a camera for: quickly and easily taking pictures of our family while traveling or participating in other events. In summary, this camera is a heckuva performer as a versatile and portable point and shoot. We highly recommend!

Customer Review: Perfect Fit & Easy Access
This case is perfect for my Acer Aspire One 10" netbook. It's easy to get the computer in and out - no stretching required. It's not too bulky, so easily fits in my backpack. It will make it easy to get through airport security when I have to take the computer out. The accessory pouch is a plus and the outside pocket is great for carrying the power cord.

This thing is a perfect fit for the netbook. The neoprene is a nice slick feeling material, but it offers really good protection. It's a material that feels like one of those Gel Bike Seats...It's lightweight, and protects the finish while in a bag or anywhere else. This type of sleeve is great for ANYONE with a netbook. It's an essential. I like this one because its black. The front pocket fits an AC adapter or spare battery. Also, inside has these stretch flaps that fit around the laptop to fit nicely at the corners. GREAT SLEEVE!!

These speakers are great, but since they only connect to USB they drain your computer's power. My Macbook could not take the abuse any longer, the speakers stopped working in less than a year. I was very bummed out and could not get them to work anymore.

Customer Review: Meets my needs
In the 30+ years I've lived in my house, I've never experienced a power-related failure in any electronic equipment, so I debated about ordering this surge protector. However, concerned that my luck might be running out, I purchased this unit based on Tripp Lite's reputation, good customer reviews, and reasonable price. It seems to be well made and has enough outlets to meet my needs. I agree with those who are critical of the labeling, which can be hard to read, and the color of the ground LED, which is red and not green. The only other comment I would make is that there are only two isolated filter banks and not five as I assumed. This probably isn't a big deal, but just make sure that you use the two isolated banks for your most valuable equipment. In my case, I used them for my plasma TV and surround sound receiver. I hope I never have to test this unit, but I feel better knowing that it's there.

SODIMMs get their name because they are smaller and thinner than regular DIMMs. The gold pins on the bottom of the SODIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. Customer Review: Minor Trouble Installing - Blank Screen
Hi. It is working fine. When you install it, you might want to check to see if when you pull the clamps apart to release the chip, if the newly installed chip pops up. I installed it about 3 times, because I was getting a blank screen. My chip was not popping up, when I removed it. This was because I did not push it into its slot a bit. It moved in snugly, without much force. Then when I tried removing it, it popped up as it should. So I slid it back into place, snugly, and closed the compartment again and turned on my computer and voila, I have 2gb of ram! Yay! So far, I have not noticed a huge amount of change, but hoping it will kick in when necessary.

I purchased this a month back to upgrade my ThinkPad T61 memory. Passed the memtest86+ test. Working great so far. Giving it 4 because of the packaging. The clam-shell pack is not good for such sensitive products, there is a good chance of damaging the module while getting it out of the shell. I'll update if I have a problem.

This case is a tight fit on my acer aspire 10.1. Not enough room for accessories. After I bought this I bought a leather case that wraps around the copmuter like a book cover so I can use the computer while it is in the case. That way it is protected while using it (when I'm most likely to drop it).
