Customer Review: A review.This works as an 'extender' for the Wireless Door Contacts by connecting a small gauge wire and is not needed for the Wireless Motion Detector. The wire works as a 'converter' by tapping into an existing hard wired system (with a small gauge wire); Which I completely gutted after playing with this Wireless Door Chime and Push Button system. I had to write a note on mine, saying, "DOORBELL" as visitors to my house did not know what it was... and were knocking. Which is frustrating when you are excited about a product.
